Comprehensive list of current Entagged features
// $Id: current-features.txt,v 1.1 2007/03/23 14:16:42 nicov1 Exp $ //

I will try to maintain here a list of all the basic features of Entagged. They can of course be used together
to form new one. GUI features are not listed here, because they are just a combination of the listed feature.

-Read encoding specific info, such as encoder name, bitrate, length, samplerate etc.

-Read/write id3v1 tag. Full support, except non standard custom genres.

-Read/write id3v2 tag. Part of the id3.org specs. Supports very few of the optional flags, approximative support of
	character encoding. Can read/write every field.

-Read Ogg tags, still experimental, to be developped.

-Write Ogg tags, not supported, experimental developpement.

-Pluggable audio format support (still experimental), allows to add new formats very easily, simply by implementing an interface

-Rename a file with a given pattern, using regex (very powerful), and a given tag (more supported fields can be added).
	The filename can be only the real filename, but also a directory structure (Artist\Album\Track - Name.mp3)

-Tag a file from its filename, using regex (very powerful), more supported fields can be added. Cannot use the directory structure (can be added)

-Generate pls or m3u playlists, from a given oredered list of audio files

-Support freedb disc ID computation (with assumption of 2 sec leadin track).

-Support freedb query/read (Not fully implementing freedb though (special error codes etc.)) with disc ID, and parsing of the answer.

-Scanning folder (recursively or not) and stores tag infos (still experimental) into a sql database.
	Ability to create multiple database / delete / reset

-Show the stored files as a tree, with either folders, or artist-album-title hierarchy.
